Graphic Novels: Literature or not?
Now, not only means manga, much of which writing is not better than normal NYTimes bestseller. I also say books like Persepolis, Maus, and Sin City, whose style and content make memorable and worth remembering. I was having a discussion with someone who does not consider literature, graphic novels, and made me a little sad. Good light on is good (and rare these days), what if it is written in half? It would be better "Metamorphosis Kafka's "or" Shakespeare's Hamlet "to be less great if portrayed in graphic novel form? @ Meilani B: It is not difficult, but I have to read Shakespeare in almost every literature class I had was not a specialist (ie, American Lit or such). As important light is also in almost all English / Old English / European / Western lit book I have. I consider the literature as I am, Arthur Miller, Oscar Wilde, or Thornton Wilder. The literature is written, and all these had to be written before they could be carried out.
I am very much in mind the graphic novels a form of literature. It makes me sad when people down the content of the book because literature is the art with the sites. People will ignore books like Maus or rugs, simply because it is a "comic" when in reality graphic novels can be much more.
