What about the "termination" of Hikaru no Go?
This has been bothering me for almost a year, and I can not find any response. If anyone has read or seen this series, then they understand as well. Spoilers after this point if it is not. The manga ends abruptly, to the point makes me wonder if that's really the end. None of the players in the series (Hikaru, Akira, etc) came to the 'Hand of God', and the plot was not center of everything? That was the goal of all and yet when Yumi Hotta leaves, no one has done. Not to mention the fact that when it ends, Hikaru thinks he can hear Sai again, which means that Sai is going to make a change? Why land in the end there? Anyway, if anyone knows the answer, and I've looked at, perhaps Yumi Hotta died, decided not to finish the series, or if the artist Takeshi Obata, who is the artist and author of Death Note, her talent in creating this piece and left Yumi the lurch ... Please let me know. Thank you.
As far as I know, nobody died or decided not to finish the series or abandoned by Death Note. I think the author was just trying to give the appropriate final and, uh. Well. Failed.
